πŸ“ŒΒ ClickUp Productivity Tip: Multiple Views of the same set of tasks

πŸ™‹πŸ»
Something that has helped improve my productivity when it comes to using ClickUp is the ability to set up multiple views of your space/folders/lists.

For most clients and projects, you often need to have a logical breakdown of tasks based on some kind of grouping such as project status/services/set of work etc. For example, for a single client, you might have tasks grouped under different services such as SEO, Email Marketing, Website Development etc.

But most of the time, you also want the ability to see all your tasks for a specific client/project across all of those groupings but sorted by Due Date. This makes it super easy for you to immediately know what tasks is upcoming today/tomorrow, next week etc.

ClickUp makes this super easy. You can set up different views, choose how you want to group them, add any filters in (e.g. maybe you want to exclude tasks without a due date or only include tasks assigned to specific team members). With just a click, you can switch between different views of the same set of tasks.

Converting action items on a Doc to a Task

πŸ™‹πŸ»
I do a ton of Zoom calls with clients, and I take meeting notes on Docs. Many items within a meeting document are actually tasks I need to work on.

One of my favourite hacks with ClickUp Docs is that I can take any single line within a ClickUp Doc and transform it into a task.

What's even better is that the task is created with a relationship back to the original document so that anyone executing the task can easily refer to any important information on the document.

If you are meeting/working with different team members, this becomes super powerful as you can start assigning tasks from the Doc and everything is tied back to the same Doc.
